Professional Development (ODEN at Penn)

The Organizational Dynamics Exchange Network (ODEN) at Penn is a local and global community of students, alumni, scholars, practitioners, faculty, and working professionals who participate in professional, personal, and social-organizational growth and development through the lenses of Organizational Dynamics. ODEN at Penn is an integrated component of the Organizational Dynamics Degree Programs and is housed within the Graduate Division, School of Arts and Sciences of the University of Pennsylvania.

The mission of ODEN at Penn is to extend and sustain the Penn experience beyond the classroom by providing academic and intellectual exchanges, networking activities, and social events for the entire community including organizational partners of the Organizational Dynamics Programs.

ODEN is governed via a Board of Directors of students and alumni and advised by Dr. Alan Barstow, Director of Academics and Collaboration.

Membership

Membership in the Organizational Dynamics Exchange Network at Penn is available regardless of university or corporate affiliation and without charge. Fees may be charged for certain activities offered to members.» more

Within the ODEN organization, members who work as professionals in a particular area or who share an interest in a particular field of inquiry often join together to plan projects and programs of special interest to them.

ODEN at PENN makes educational services available to members. These provide updates on best practices and new information about organizational dynamics. Career enhancement activities include participation in ODEN Special Interest Groups, Career Networking Meetings, and Mentoring.» more
