Fred Sutherland, Biographical Sketch

L. Frederick Sutherland is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Group Executive of ARAMARK
Corporation, a leading provider of a broad range of professional services including food, hospitality, facility, and
uniform services.

Sutherland joined ARAMARK in 1980 as Assistant Treasurer and became Treasurer in 1983. In 1984, he was
part of the management team that took the company private in what was then one of the largest management
buyouts in the U.S. As a result of the buyout, ARAMARK became one of the largest employee-owned companies
in the United States.

Prior to joining ARAMARK, Mr. Sutherland spent six years at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City where he
was a Vice President in the Corporate Banking department. Mr. Sutherland received his undergraduate degree in physics
and mathematics from Duke University in 1973 and an MBA in finance from the Katz School of the University of Pittsburgh
in 1974.

Mr. Sutherland is on the Board of Directors for Con Edison and a member of the Trinity Board of Visitors at Duke
University. He is President of the Board of Trustees of People’s Light and Theater, the second largest theatre in the
Philadelphia area, and a board member of WHYY, Philadelphia’s PBS affiliate.
