Elijah Anderson who has taught in the Organizational Dynamics graduate studies program since 1987, was formerly was formerly the Charles and William L. Day Distinguished Professor of the Social Sciences in the Sociology Department of the University of Pennsylvania and Director of the Philadelphia Ethnography Project. His research and teaching are in the social psychology of organizations and field methods of social research and social interaction. He received his Ph.D. in Sociology from Northwestern University.
