BiographyCharline S. Russo is Affiliated Faculty, Organizational Dynamics, in the School of Arts and Sciences; and President, The CampoMarzio Group. She is the former Executive Director, Global R&D Education and Training, Amgen, Thousand Oaks, CA, where she was responsible for the education, knowledge management and professional development for 5200 worldwide Research and Development employees. Previously, she was Director, Worldwide Clinical Operations and Research Training for Schering-Plough Research Institute where she directed and implemented training and organization development for 1300 Global Clinical Development employees and was responsible for building and implementing a world-class global learning organization. She has directed adult learning and professional development institutes for Rutgers University, Georgian Court University, William Paterson University, Monmouth University and Bloomfield College where she created the successful and nationally recognized Weekends at Bloomfield College Program. Charline has also been a member of the faculty of Rutgers University directing the Rutgers Advanced Management Program (RAMP) and other corporate education programs, several of which are listed in Bricker’s Directory. Charline works co-operatively with all organizational levels in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, directing her efforts primarily to employer-employee relationships in order to develop better knowledge and understanding for improved individual and organizational effectiveness. Her expertise includes knowledge management, performance management systems and processes and individual coaching and counseling of executives, managers and individual contributors. Her scholarship and practice interests include coaching as a leadership competency and strategic process for individual and organizational growth and development; Appreciative Inquiry as an affirmative organizational change process; and the craft of method teaching in organizational learning and development. Dr. Russo received her BA in History and Psychology and MBA from Rutgers University and her MA and EdD from Columbia University. She earned a certificate in Leadership Education from the John F. Kennedy School, Harvard University. Research
