Biography

Femida Handy is Associate Professor in the School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests include environmental economics, NGOs and development, nonprofit sector economics, nonprofits and management, and volunteers and voluntary action. She received an MA (Mathematics), an MES (Mathematical and Economic Analysis of Environmental Issues), and PhD (Environmental Studies) from York University in Toronto, Canada.
