Program Areas

The Organizational Dynamics Exchange Network (ODEN) at Penn accomplishes its mission by operating in three program areas:

Scholarship and Research

Affiliated Faculty and Visiting Scholars at The Organizational Dynamics Exchange Network (ODEN) at Penn conduct research, teach, study, and write about a variety of organizational topics. Students in the MSOD and MPhil programs write a thesis or a capstone final paper as part of their degree requirements. Many of the abstracts or the full texts of these documents are available online or by request. Read more . . .

Outreach

ODEN at Penn works with regional and national professional organizations and societies to support enhanced organizational competencies for their members. These relationships provide a rich network and broader access to resources for participants in ODEN at Penn and its affiliate members. Workshop sponsorship, joint programming, curriculum development, and promotion of professionalism are some of the activities pursued through non-degree seminars, workshops, and other continuing education programs throughout the region. Organizations may request ODEN to create programs for them - programs that reflect the themes taught in the Degree Programs: Organizational Coaching; Global Studies; Projects, Programs, and Portfolios Management; Leadership Management; and Practitioner of Change and Development. Continuing Professional Development

ODEN at Penn makes educational services available to all Organizational Dynamics alumni and non-alumni who join ODEN at Penn as members or associate members. These provide updates on best practices and new information about organizational dynamics. Career enhancement activities include participation in ODEN at Penn Interest Groups, career networking meetings, and mentoring. Every effort is made to accommodate the changing needs of participants by introducing new programs and services as needed. Read more . . .
