Outreach(ODEN) at PENN creates and offers non-degree seminars, workshops, and other continuing education programs throughout the region for ODEN members and for individuals or organizations in the domestic or global academic, educational, or workplace community. Working directly with representatives all kinds of organizations, ODEN designs, staffs, and presents appropriate programming for client organizations such as the Federal Executive Board and Astra Zeneca. In addition, ODEN works with professional societies to support enhanced organizational competencies for their members. These relationships provide a rich network and broader access to resources for participants in ODEN and its affiliate members. Workshop sponsorship, joint programming, curriculum development, and promotion of professionalism are some of the activities undertaken with the Ackoff Center, the Global Interdependence Center, the ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plans) Association, and others. ODEN Continuing Education CertificatesCompletion of continuing education programs results in certifications and/or course completion documents issued by the University of Pennsylvania's Organizational Dynamics Exchange Network. Among the courses that result in non-degree Continuing Education Units (ceus) and Educational Certificates from the Organizational Dynamics Exchange Network (ODEN) at PENN are the popular Organizational Dynamics International Courses Abroad. Organizational Dynamics alumni and ODEN members are eligible to participate in the travel portion of these courses, accompanying degree candidates to all International destinations for reduced fees.
