DYNM 683: Organizational Experience: Self, Role, and ExpectationsThis class will meet on Thursday and Monday evenings beginning Thursday, May 29. DYNM 635: Organizational Essentials for LeadershipNote that the following special class meeting schedule begins BEFORE the official beginning of Summer courses on May 27. NO ONE will be permitted to enroll in this course after May 17.
DYNM 620: The Coach Applying Tools and Skills in the FieldNOTE: DYNM 620 is offered in the summer semester. Admission is restricted (but restriction may be waived by the course Professor) to students who have completed DYNM 610. In this class, each student will work with an individual client under close supervision of the Professor, using clearly defined practices, tools, and skill sets. Each step of the coaching sequence is analyzed in real time and problems are explored in a clinic/practicum format. Students will learn methods of obtaining the client, establishing a contractual relationship, assessing the interest and needs of the client, providing feedback, and moving the client toward positive outcomes. All students will write a professional summary of the coaching process as part of the experience. DYNM 620 will meet on the following special schedule:
